Our pre-sterilized Masters Mix substrate bags provide the ideal environment for cultivating gourmet and functional mushrooms. Made from a premium blend of oakhardwood and soy hulls, this mix supports robust mycelium growth and maximise yields. Each batch is tested for optimal field capacity, ensuring the perfect moisture level for your fungi strains.

To guarantee a contaminant-free substrate, we sterilize every bag in a medical-grade autoclave at a minimum of 121ºC (15 PSI) for 1 hour and 30 minutes. This process ensures thorough sterilisation, reaching the core of each bag to eliminate all microorganisms.

The Master Mix Substrate comes:

  • fully hydrated

  • sterilised (Sterilised to an internal temperature of 121°C for 1.5 hours)

  • ready for immediate use inside one of our 18x25cm growing bag
